Indian citizens can travel to Thailand without a visa from November 10 to May 10, 2024, as the South-East Asian country takes steps to promote tourism.

Indians can travel to Thailand without a visa during the period from November 10, 2023 to May 10, 2024. On one entry, a person can stay for 30 days, Siriges-a-Nong Triratnasongpol, director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, told PTI at his New Delhi office on October 31.

Thailand wants to promote tourism including India.

In an effort to attract more tourists, Thailand has announced the temporary lifting of visa requirements for travelers from India and Taiwan starting next month until May 2024.

From January to October 29, Thailand welcomed 22 million travelers, generating revenue of 927.5 billion baht (equivalent to $25.67 billion), according to the most recent government data.
