The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, recently flew in the Tejas, a multirole fighter jet of the Indian Air Force (IAF).

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday soared through the skies aboard Tejas during his visit to the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) site in Bengaluru, Karnataka. As part of his comprehensive review, he assessed HAL's manufacturing facility, focusing on the production of light combat aircraft. Reports say the Prime Minister's flight lasted approximately 45 minutes.

Here's what he shared about the experience:

"Today, I had the privilege of flying in the Tejas. It was an amazing experience that filled me with confidence in our country's capabilities. It made me proud and optimistic about what India can achieve."

"Flying in the Tejas, I can confidently say that our hard work has made us second to none in the field of self-reliance. Congratulations to the Indian Air Force, DRDO, and HAL. Best wishes to all fellow Indians."
