The Buddha Bhoomi program was successfully completed in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand on Sunday.

Organized in collaboration with Uttar Pradesh Tourism, the event showcased the rich cultural and spiritual significance of Buddhist sites in Uttar Pradesh.

Over the course of ten days, nearly 15 lakh visitors visited the pavilion set up by Uttar Pradesh Tourism to witness the grandeur of the Mahaparinirvana Stupa and other Buddhist sites associated with the life of Lord Buddha, officials said here on Sunday. The event saw participation from pilgrims not only from Thailand but from many other countries who expressed their desire to visit the Buddhist sites in Uttar Pradesh after learning about them. Cultural programs were organized on the last day, enhancing the spiritual atmosphere of the event by reflecting the glory of Lord Ram and his Ayodhya.

The Buddha Bhoomi event, which began on February 23 and concluded on March 3, aims to promote tourism between India and Thailand, emphasizing the importance of Uttar Pradesh as the place where Lord Buddha spent a significant part of his life.
