Aditya L-1 journeyed 15 lakh kilometers from Earth and safely reached the designated orbit at the Sun's Lagrange point L1. A new chapter in exploration begins.
The Aditya L-1 spacecraft, launched by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for Sun study, has successfully reached its planned orbit.
ISRO's 'Aditya L-1 Mission' shared X account details on Saturday.
"Aditya L-1 has covered a distance of 15 lakh kilometers from Earth and securely reached the designated orbit at the Sun's Lagrange point L1," stated the mission.
"Aditya L1 will maintain continuous contact with Earth to unveil mysteries about the Sun," the mission added.
